SPARROW: Slim Designed Frame Lock, 9Cr18MoV Blade, Black G10 Handle, Ball Bearing Flipper System

As all of my VORTEK knives I am quite pleased with the way it feels in my hand, the sharpness of the blade & the way it performs the task at hand. VORTEK is one of my favorite brands, I own quite a few and will continue to buy more, thank you much VORTEK!!

This was something I had been wanting to see Vortek do as a locking mechanism for quite some time. I enjoy a good liner lock and Vortek does them well, I just personally feel like a frame Lock feels more premium, the engagement and disengagement is more satisfying as well as generally the acoustics are more solid. The Sparrow embodies all of these characteristics all while maintaining a fairly gentleman like appearance. I wish Vortek would use the frame Lock on some more robust, full size knives.
