Warranty

VORTEK Knives will cover any defects in materials or workmanship. If one of our knives ever breaks or fails because of material or manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the knife free of charge to the original customer for life.
What our Warranty does not cover:
What our Warranty does not cover:
- Tool Abuse: Using the knife for unsuitable tasks like prying or pounding.
- Tip Breakage: Use of a knife for any purpose other than cutting voids the warranty.
- Lack of Maintenance: This warranty does not cover failure of mechanisms due to failure to properly maintain them.
Misuse of your knife can cause serious injury or even death. It can also cause your knife to break or fail and the VORTEK lifetime warranty will not apply. Failure to properly maintain your knife also may cause its mechanisms to not function properly, which could result in injury to you or damage to the knife.
For your VORTEK knife to last a lifetime follow these simple rules:
- Keep your knife clean and routinely oil the pivot screw area. This will assure fast smooth opening and closing and prevent rust and lessen wear.
- Keep your knife sharp. A dull blade can be more dangerous than a properly maintained one.
- Check the pivot screws and handle screws for proper tightness. This doesn't happen very often but a screw may become loose. Use a simple TORX wrench to check them when doing routine maintenance.
